1.There be... 有……句型“There be...”是表示某事物存在与否的句型，句中的“there”只起到引导的作用，句子的真正主语是谓语动词“be”后面的单数可数名词或者复数可数名词 。“be”的情况视主语而定 。谓语与最邻近的主语保持一致 。there是引导词，在句中不充当任何成分，翻译时也不必译出 。

2.邻近规则：若 there be 后面是两个或多个并列的名词,动词be的形式则与靠得最近的那个名词的数一致,如：
There is a pen, two books and many pencils on the desk. 桌上有一支钢笔、两本书和好些铅笔 。
There are two bottles and an ashtray on the shelf. 架子上有两个瓶子和一个烟灰缸 。
There is a time and a place for everything .任何事物都有存在的时间和空间 。
There was a street fair and an old-fashioned brass band .正好有一场街头游乐会，还有一支老式铜管乐队在演奏 。
There are ten students and a teacher in the office. 办公室里有十个学生和一个教师 。
There has been nothing in the newspaper about the accident.关于这起交通事故，报纸还没有做任何报道 。
There will be snow on high ground.高地上将会下雪 。
3. there be句型的各种时态
（1）there be句型可以用动词be的各种时态，即一般现在时、一般过去时、将来时和完成时 。该句型的时态有多种，需根据相应的句子时态变换be动词：There is/are... there was/were... there will be/be going to... there has been/have been... there had been...

There has been nothing in the newspaper about the accident.关于这起交通事故，报纸还没有做任何报道 。
There will be snow on high ground.高地上将会下雪 。
There is no harm in trying.不妨一试 。
There were fabulous wildflowers in the hills last spring.去年春天,山中有极美的野花 。
（2）there be句型可以和各种助动词、情态动词连用,如there may be, there might be,there can be 。
There might be rain later.也许晚点会有雨 。
There must be some mistake.那一定有些错误 。
该句型还可以使用各种情态动词以及含有情态意义的动词或动词短语，此时，该句型多表示“必然"“可能”“预见"“过去曾存在’’等含义，
具体如：
1)、There must be…肯定有……
2)、There may／might be…可能有……
3)、There can’t be…不可能有……
4)、There used to be…曾经有……
5)、There ought to／should be…应该有……
6)、Theremust have been…一定已经有过……(表推测)
7)、There may have been…可能已经有过……(表推测)
8、There appear／seem to be…似乎有……
9)、There be likely to be…可能有……
10)、There happen to be…碰巧有……

（3）there be句型也可和下面这些的谓语动词连用,如be going to 、seem to 、appear to 、used to、be likely to 、happen to ….
There seem to be a few trees between me and the green. 在我与草坪之间好像有一些树 。
There is gong to be a meeting tonight.今天晚上有个会议 。
There is likely to be a storm.可能有一场暴雨 。
There happened to be a bus nearby.碰巧附近有辆公交车 。
There appears to have been a nasty accident.似乎发生了一起严重事故
