Don\x27t Let Me Be MisunderstoodDon't Let Me Be Misunderstood（请别误解我）由Bennie Benjamin、Gloria Caldwell、Sol Marcus共同创作，美国着名灵魂乐歌手Nina Simone首唱，收录在专辑《Broadway-Blues-Ballads》（1964年）中。
1965年英国着名摇滚乐队The Animals翻唱，改编为布鲁斯摇滚版，收录在乐队第三张录音室专辑《Animal Tracks》中，在UK Singles Chart（英国单曲榜）取得季军成绩，在Billboard Hot 100打入前二十。2004年《滚石》评选的“The 500 greatest songs of all time”中排列第315位。
1977年Santa Esmeralda改编为拉丁&弗拉明戈版本，收录在同名专辑《Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood》中，此版本用于1992年电影《American Me》、2003年的电影《杀死比尔》和2010年电影《人在囧途》的插曲。
【Don\x27t Let Me Be Misunderstood】2006年饱受争议与误解的Yusuf Islam（Cat Stevens）重新演绎此曲，改编为民谣（弦乐）版本，收录在专辑《An Other Cup》中。
