创作背景“坎耶·维斯特抢话筒事件”后，坎耶·维斯特受到了媒体和公众的排挤，他感觉全世界都在与自己为敌，于是他去夏威夷进行了“自我流放” 。该曲的许多灵感来都来自于关于坎耶·维斯特的各种社会舆论。坎耶·维斯特在歌中加入了许多“一语双关”的语句，来产生一种“含糊不清”的表达效果。他希望该曲既能表现自己与喜爱女孩的关係，也能表达自己对媒体、社会的想法。
